This workshop will provide an overview of the Equality Act 2010 as it applies to employment, looking at all aspects of the employment cycle, from recruitment, during employment in respect of promotions, managing discipline, grievances, performance and ill health, requests for flexible working through to dismissal. It will also look at disability discrimination law and the additional obligations placed on employers. • up to date case law examples of how the law works in practice, to bring the law to life and enable delegates to appreciate how the law evolves and the key considerations that need to be given to equality issues
  • interactive exercises that require managers to apply their learning, ensuring they leave the workshop with a solid understanding of equality law and how it applies to their organisation and their role within it
