Having attended the University of East Anglia in Norwich and trained with the firm, Stuart qualified into Birketts’ property department in 2001. Stuart also manages the firm’s involvement in Suffolk ProHelp, a scheme by which local firms provide professional services to charities, voluntary groups and the like, on a ‘pro-bono’ basis.
Stuart is named as an 'associate to watch' by Chambers [UK 2014] and "praised by sources for his practical, commercial approach to transactions". He is praised in the previous edition as "helpful, accurate in his drafting, perceptive on the points he raises and always looks for a speedy outcome." Clients praise him for "taking the trouble to gain an in-depth understanding of the issue."
In an earlier edition Stuart is noted for his "sound knowledge and assured approach."
