Emma qualified as a solicitor in 1997. She has developed a particular interest in financial issues surrounding relationships and disputes between parents and children. Many of her clients have complex financial arrangements or face extremely difficult decisions around ongoing arrangements for their children.

She believes that, having assisted clients with family law problems for many years, relationship breakdown is one of the most difficult experiences you can face. You are expected to deal with important decisions regarding your family’s future at a time when you are facing emotional turmoil. Each situation is unique and should be treated as such. She tailors her advice to suit your particular circumstances; it is important to listen to your concerns and wishes for your family.

Emma is experienced in assisting clients through matrimonial and family difficulties with the aim of reaching a constructive solution with the minimum of conflict and expense. She believes it is important to negotiate a settlement with minimum court involvement, wherever possible. Where your case needs input from a judge, she is experienced in working within the court process to achieve your final objective wherever possible.

Emma is based in our Chelmsford office.
