    • Sarah joined Birketts in September 2015 and is currently undertaking her final training seat in the Commercial Property Team in our Chelmsford office.

      Sarah spent the first six months of her training contract in the Corporate Team, where she assisted with several high-value corporate transactions, gaining exposure to both asset and share purchase transactions. 

      Sarah completed her second training seat in the Dispute Resolution Team. This seat involved a variety of contentious work for both individuals and companies, including fraud, debt recovery and contentious probate matters.

      During Sarah's third training seat in Employment, she assisted on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. Sarah supported fee earners within the team with the progress of various tribunal proceedings and drafted a range of documentation including settlement agreements and employment contracts. 

      Prior to joining Birketts, Sarah worked as a Litigation Paralegal in a London based law firm where she gained invaluable experience of issuing court proceedings and attending before Masters at the Royal Courts of Justice with various applications.

    • Sarah studied Law at the University of Exeter and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP Holborn. Sarah completed electives in commercial law and intellectual property, corporate finance and advanced commercial litigation. 

      Outside of work Sarah enjoys keeping fit and completed the Walking with the Wounded Cumbrian Challenge as part of a team of colleagues within Birketts in May 2016.
